Being part of the St. Ann's by-the-Sea community means being a part of the very special community of Block Island.

Beautiful Block Island is approximately 13 miles off the coast of Rhode Island.A year round destination for vacationers, athletes, birders, surfers, artists, boatersand more. Block Island has two historic lighthouses, the North Light on the northern tip of the island and the Southeast Light on the Mohegan Bluffs. A large portions of the island is protected conservation land, dedicated to wildlife preservation, recreation and natural scenery preservation.

Being a small, isolated community, typically under 1000 residents, members tend to have a strong bond to the island and with their fellow community members.
